How do I know if it is the radiator or the AC condenser causing overheating?
If the engine temperature gauge climbs but the AC still blows cold, look at the radiator and coolant system first. If AC performance drops along with rising engine temperature, especially in traffic, a blocked or damaged condenser (often from stone damage since it sits at the front of the car) is a common cause.
